Ukhimath is a pilgrimage site located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state, the distance from Rudraprayag to Ukhimath is about 41 kilometers.
In winter, the doli of Lord Madmaheshwar and Kedarnath ji from Kedarnath temple is brought and kept in Ukhimath and here Madmaheshwar and Kedarnath ji are worshiped for 6 months in winter.
Ukhimath Nagar Panchayat was established in the year 2012 by merging the two revenue gram sabhas of Dangwadi and Bhatwadi.

And even after killing her, Mother Kali did not calm down, then Lord Shiva lay down under the feet of Mother Kali, after that Mother Kali calmed down and meditated in the pool located here.
This kund is still covered with Sriyantra, this kund is opened only on Ashtami in Shardiya Navratri.
